West Virginia State Park Programs

West Virginia State Parks offer a full range of recreational, educational and nature-based programs held throughout the year. Planned activities include wildflower walks, dinner theaters, amphitheater performances, and historical reenactments. Many of the special events include an overnight package option.

Participation and involvement is for the sheer enjoyment of making a difference in preservation, maintenance, operation, and visitation. Some programs offer outlets to support state parks by  hiking, visiting, volunteering and other enrollment programs. There is no competition.

You’re always welcome at your West Virginia State Parks and Forests.
